Despite a bar-measuring loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night, Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma didn't celebrate a career-high 24-point performance, but rather reminisced about the opportunities missed throughout the game. Namely, a potential statement dunk over big man Joel Embiid, which almost brought the house down, coming a whisker shy of completion.

The long-striding Kuzma ran up court and took his best show at posterizing the social media star, who torched the Lakers for a career-high 46 points.

Asked if he could take that one back, Kyle Kuzma couldn't help but smile and hope for a better result in the near future.

“That would have been cool because I got about six of those this year that I haven't completed,” Kuzma said, according to ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk. “I'm going to get somebody.”

Aware of what he just avoided, Joel Embiid could be seen smiling, nearly avoiding being buried under the basket by the lanky Lakers rookie, who has grown impatient waiting for his first SLAM-worthy poster.

Kuzma's career night came in a loss, but it has shown enough potential to turn him into the mainstay at the power forward position, boasting a well-rounded offensive arsenal — one that gave Dario Saric and Robert Covington their fair share of headaches.
