With all the hype that surrounded Lonzo Ball even before he entered the NBA, many are hoping he lives up to expectations especially the fans of the Los Angeles Lakers, who think very highly of him. Even his teammates are helping him succeed early on by giving him tips on how to be even more effective on the court.
Larry Nance Jr. recently told the 19-year-old how he prefers to receive alley oops passes from him this coming season. Known as a strong finisher at the rim, the power forward out of Wyoming wants Ball to test how high he can jump to catch lobs, and encouraged him to pass higher than what he is more accustomed to doing.

During the Summer League and preseason games, Ball was able to showcase his all-around game, including his impressive passing skills. He recorded a couple of triple-doubles, which proves further that he can be effective on both ends of the floor.
Should he be able to successfully be familiar with his teammates’ games early in his rookie season, it could be just what the doctor ordered for the Lakers. They are hoping that Ball will be their point guard of the future, and can speed up their rebuilding process. With all signs pointing to that, this might be the year the team can finally make it back to the playoffs and with the former UCLA star leading their charge together with their young core.
