The L.A. Clippers have a lot to celebrate these days. Not only were they able to beat the Portland Trail Blazers in convincing fashion on Wednesday, they further improved their best start to a season in franchise history with a 7-1 record. And on top of that, one of their players has also reached a milestone in his NBA career.
With his stat line of 22 points, 13 rebounds, and five assists on the night, Blake Griffin has become the second fastest player in 23 years to reach 8,500 points, 4,000 rebounds and 1,500 assists in his career. And he achieved that at only 27-years-old.
With that rebound, Blake Griffin is the 2nd-fastest player in 23 years to total over 8,500p/4,000r/1,500a.

Griffin has had an incredible start to the season and has shown that he is 100 percent healthy once again. He has been an integral part of the Clippers' early success and has helped them become the team with the best defense in the league allowing only 89.3 points per 100 possessions.
The 6-foot-10 power forward is averaging 19.6 points, 10.1 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 1.3 steals in 31.4 minutes per game this year. If he continues to produce these types of numbers, the Clippers will be geared to make a deep run in the playoffs and finally make it past the conference semis for the first time in franchise history.
