One of the biggest free agents this summer will be Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin.
While it's impossible to ignore the elephant in the room, Griffin is doing his best to keep his focus on the task at hand.
After becoming the first player in franchise history to score 10,000 points last night, Griffin had this to say when asked about his big decision this summer, via The OC Register:
“I’ve loved my time here, absolutely,” Griffin said. “But my main focus right now is the season. I said this before the season, I’m not doing the whole free agency talk. I’m not talking about any decision I can’t make right now. Like I said my main focus is getting this team right and moving forward and being right heading into the playoffs.”

Griffin's accomplishment last night speaks to what he's brought this franchise since being the No. 1 overall pick back in 2009. The Clippers have been able to build around Griffin with the likes of Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan but they've still left something to be desired when looking at their postseason results.
The Clippers have yet to make it to the conference finals and if they come up short again this season, the question surrounding Griffin's future with the franchise will grow even larger.
While Griffin knows he will obviously be a free agent this summer, there's still a lot of basketball to be played before then that may greatly influence his decision.
