Leonard signed a three-year, $103.14 million contract with the Clips. He was able to convince George to request a trade to the Clippers from the Oklahoma City Thunder. PG signed a four-year, $136.9 million deal with OKC last summer.

The city of Los Angeles is going to be spoiled with basketball in 2019-20. With LeBron James and Anthony Davis on the Lakers and Kawhi Leonard and Paul George on the Clippers, the battle of LA is going to be epic next season. Both teams are expected to win the title, but only one will reach its goal.

Leonard averaged 26.6 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists last season, while George put up 28.0 points, 8.2 rebounds and 4.1 assists. Both All-Stars are elite players on both ends of the floor. The Clippers, at least in the eyes of experts, are favored to win the 2020 championship over the Lakers since they have more depth than the purple-and-gold.
