During his first press conference as a member of the Los Angeles Clippers, Paul George would not set a date for his return to the court but claimed that his rehab is progressing well:
Paul George on his shoulder surgery – "There's no set date. I've been progressing really well. I'm a great point in my rehab. We'll take our time and look forward to returning whenever that day is."#Clippers

Last season, George had surgery on both his shoulders. Midway through the season, the forward had surgery to repair a torn tendon in his right shoulder. After being eliminated by the Portland Trail Blazers, George had surgery for a labrum tear in his left shoulder.
Towards the end of the season, it was clear that the injuries were limiting George's play. He came out of the first half as a serious MVP candidate but faded down the stretch due to some poor shooting. In the Thunder's playoff series, he shot only 31.9 percent from three, down almost seven percent from his regular-season numbers. Even after he second-half slide, George finished third in MVP voting.
The Clippers will certainly not rush PG back to the floor. Last year, this team finished as the eighth seed without George on the roster. Add Kawhi Leonard to the mix, and the Clippers are more than capable of staying afloat for a little while George recovers.
When George does take the floor, the Clippers will have one of the deepest and most talented teams on both sides of the floor.
Here's hoping George can heal quickly and perform at the level he did before his shoulder surgeries.
