The Los Angeles Clippers accomplished the only thing that matters to them in Game 6, which was to beat the Dallas Mavericks on the road and force a Game 7 at STAPLES Center. Ty Lue obviously felt good about the result, but not too good, per Law Murray of The Athletic.

The Clippers' head coach simply didn't like the way his players performed on their shots from behind the arc. While the Clippers ended up winning the game, 104-97, Los Angeles could have had a more dominant win had they shot better than 29.4 percent on their 3-point attempts. The team went 10 of 34 from deep, with Nic Batum, Marcus Morris Sr., Rajon Rondo combining for an atrocious line of 0-of-11 shooting from the 3-point region.

Lue could just be happy about how Kawhi Leonard saved the Clippers with his 45-point explosion in Game 6. Leonard did make five threes of his own on nine attempts, but Lue was more concerned about those four misses, apparently.

The Mavs' outside shooting has been better than LA's thus far in the series, with Luka Doncic and crew making 40.7 percent of their 3-point shots to 35.8 percent by the Clippers.

This Mavs-Clippers series has been a tight battle from the get-go, and Game 7 Sunday night could ultimately boil down on the smallest of differences — like a missed open 3-point shot.
