A fan roasted Jimmy Butler for wanting to go to the Los Angeles Clippers. Another fan roasted him right back.

When news broke out that Butler expressed his wish to be traded out of the Minnesota Timberwolves, fans flocked to social media to get the latest news, as well as voice out their reactions to it. A Twitter user @MoBambafan dissed Butler's desire to go to the Clippers, of all the teams:

Though the news about Butler came in relatively late in the offseason, it still managed to send some waves across the league. Jimmy Butler, after all, is considered one of the NBA's elites. And teams are about to start training camp in a few.

And when a star player requests to be traded, he usually gets his wish. Teams wouldn't want to jeopardize their whole franchise for a failed decision. Given these facts, it's pretty safe to assume that Butler won't be donning the Wolves jersey in the upcoming regular season.

What's interesting about Butler is that he didn't choose teams who are already legitimate contenders. The teams he chose simply have enough space to accommodate him. But most of them do not have the pieces just yet to contend for a title or even the playoffs.
