Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Danny Green thinks superstar big man Anthony Davis has yet to get into “Anthony Davis shape.”

Green says Davis can still take his game to another level, which spells trouble for the rest of the NBA:

The Lakers are 4-1 on the young season. Davis is averaging 29.2 points, 11.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.8 blocks. The six-time All-Star is shooting 46.1 percent from the field, just 18.8 percent from beyond the arc and 87.5 percent from the free-throw line.

Davis' efficiency will improve as the season goes along and as he gets more comfortable playing with LeBron James and in the Lakers' offense. AD is also dealing with some pain in his right shoulder, which makes his numbers on the season look even more impressive given the circumstances.

With Davis and LeBron leading the way and Green hitting 3-pointers at a high clip, the Lakers have a great chance of winning the championship this season. It really looks like the Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers are the two best teams in the Western Conference. The Clippers are still without Paul George, so they are going to be even more lethal once PG comes back into the lineup.

Davis, Green and the Lakers will look for their fifth straight win when LA takes on the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday.
