It's hard to be Los Angeles Lakers guard Danny Green right now.

Green muffed a wide-open 3-pointer with only 7.1 ticks remaining that could've won them the title in Game 5 of the NBA Finals. He received the perfect kick-out pass from LeBron James, who was stifled by the double team of Miami Heat stars Jimmy Butler and Duncan Robinson. However, Green missed the shot.

Because of yet another bad shooting performance for the Lakers, an old tweet by Green has surfaced. While playing for the San Antonio Spurs in 2012, he tweeted himself, calling him out for not showing up on the big stage.

He was pertaining to their Western Conference Finals defeat to the Oklahoma City Thunder, which went all the way to a Game 7. Danny Green only averaged 3.3 points on an atrocious 25.8 percent clip from the field, including 17.4 percent from long range.

It has been like deja vu for the former North Carolina star in this year's NBA Finals. He's only putting up 6.8 points on 28.9 percent marksmanship, including 24.7 percent from rainbow country. During Friday's Game 5, he missed three wide-open looks from the 3-point arc in the fourth quarter.

He has been hearing it from Lakers fans on social media, even being the subject of an online petition about not giving him a ring if they win the championship. The 33-year-old Green, however, has openly talked about his struggles in the NBA restart. He admitted he's also battling with his mental health amid all the bullying he has received.

The Lakers signed him in the offseason to a two-year contract for $30 million to serve as a typical 3-and-D guy. But while he played solidly in the regular season, he has struggled mightily the entire NBA Playoffs.
