The Los Angeles Lakers are facing a ton of problems heading into the final stretch of the season. They are currently out of the playoffs and a lot of fans see head coach Luke Walton as one of the reasons behind the team's struggles. There has been rumors that his job is no longer secure after the Lakers went down from the fourth best team in the West last December to out of the playoff picture in a span of two months.
Still, Walton has gained a significant amount of support not only from team owner Jeanie Buss, but from his players as well. One of them is sophomore forward Kyle Kuzma, who has said nothing but positive things about the job his head coach has done over the last two years that he's been with the team.
In an interview with Sports Illustrated's Chris Ballard, Kuzma reiterated his unwavering support for Luke Walton.
“Ever since I came in the league, he’s let me be myself. It’s one thing to be confident, but when your head coach believes in you and he’s confident, that takes your confidence way up.”

Walton has put a significant amount of trust in Kuzma, especially when LeBron James went down with a groin injury, and the athletic forward responded by averaging 19.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.3 assists this season.
He's expected to play a major role in the Lakers quest to make the playoffs. The team still has a legitimate chance of doing that, as they're only three games behind the eighth seeded Los Angeles Clippers.
And Luke will surely look to Kuzma once again as one of his primary options on offense.
