The trailer for Space Jam 2 was released on Saturday morning, causing fans and NBA players to share their interest in the upcoming film starring LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers. Upon seeing Lonzo Ball's reaction to the trailer, James expressed his gratitude toward Ball for his support on Twitter.

Ball began his career with the Lakers and spent two years with the franchise — one with James — before being traded to the New Orleans Pelicans as part of the massive package for Anthony Davis. Despite Ball's short stint with James on the court, both have been complimentary of one another when it comes to basketball.

Of course, when it comes to Space Jam , many people there is no way anyone can top the film that Michael Jordan made in the 1990s. But if the trailer for James' Space Jam 2  is any indication, it doesn't look it is going to disappoint fans of either side of the argument.

In recent years, with James making his way to Los Angeles, he's become more involved in the television and movie industry. The superstar forward is trying to expand his business ventures outside of basketball, dipping his toes into the Hollywood scene.

James is currently battling back from an ankle injury, which is expected to keep him sidelined for a few more weeks. While James is recovering, his anticipated trailer for Space Jam 2 released, and he has the support of his former teammate in Ball.
