Magic Johnson, former Los Angeles Lakers president of basketball operations, sent out a tweet after the organization got the fourth pick in the NBA Draft.

Via Twitter, Johnson commended Kyle Kuzma — the Lakers' representative in the lottery — for being the team's lucky charm. He also gave LeBron James and crew a shoutout.

While some were iffy with his reaction to the lottery, some defended Johnson, noting that he's a Laker for life. Besides, Johnson can say anything he wants and not be accused of tampering.  This is what he really wanted: to say whatever he wants to say, not just as a Laker, but as a basketball fan.

Now, we can expect Johnson to send out tweets not just pertaining to the team, but to other basketball players as well.

For the Lakers, they were pretty lucky to get the fourth overall pick.

They just have to think hard and well whom they want to pick among the talented crop of prospects who signed up for the 2019 NBA Draft.
