Miami Heat's star duo of Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo has undeniable chemistry which they've once again proven in their preseason game against the Hawks. Butler, who was sitting out their game as Miami played hosts against Trae Young and the rest of the Atlanta-based squad, was an All-Star teammate to his frontcourt partner and did everything he could to for Bam.

According to the 24-year-old, Butler smuggled in a PB&J sandwich mid-game while Adebayo was sitting on the bench (via Five Reasons Sports). Add another assist to Jimmy Butler's stats, please.

Thanks to Butler going all out for his teammate, Adebayo looked great on Monday and finished with 14 points and five rebounds in the Heat's blowout win. Miami was locked in, even with Butler not playing, with Tyler Herro putting up huge numbers for the team. Heat fans also had the pleasure of seeing new members of the team suit up like former champions Kyle Lowry, Markieff Morris, and even PJ Tucker.

It's just been a game but the new-look Miami Heat is definitely looking better than last season. After an impressive playoff run in the 2020 NBA Bubble, the Heat will look to avenge their sloppy postseason stint last season as they aim for another title run this year.

Next up for the Heat will be a trip to Texas as they face the young Houston Rockets for their second preseason game on Thursday, October 7. Butler might need to sneak in some brisket for his teammates on that one.
