The Miami Heat entered their game against the Boston Celtics on Thursday night with the best record in the NBA. But when the smoke cleared, they looked very much like a hapless crew.

The Heat got blown out by the Celtics at home, 95-78. Jimmy Butler and company were held to their season-low in terms of points and were outrebounded for the first time this campaign. Curiously, the Celtics have won back-to-back outings since mercurial guard Marcus Smart called out Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.

But despite the embarrassing defeat, Heat big man Bam Adebayo is as concerned as Jeff Bezos is about money (via Associated Press' Tim Reynolds).

There you go, Heat fans. You can rest easy.

Adebayo has been having another All-Star campaign for the Heat. But the do-it-all former Kentucky standout was limited below his averages by the Celtics, finishing with 13 points on only eight shots, seven rebounds, and four assists. He had a rough time battling with the physical Celtics frontline, including Al Horford, Robert Williams III, and Grant Williams.

After the game, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra tipped his hat to the Celtics for their defensive intensity (via ESPN).

“Defensively, you do have to give Boston credit. That's probably as poorly as we've played offensively all season, including preseason and training camp. But those nights are going to happen. Sometimes it's going to be ugly offensively.”

Like Adebayo, Spoelstra doesn't sound too alarmed. The Heat will stay at home to host the Utah Jazz on Saturday.
