Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade says his jersey swap with Washington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal on Friday was one of the coolest moments he's had so far in his final season in the NBA.
Bradley Beal finally mustered up the courage to tell Wade that the future Hall of Famer is the reason he wears No. 3. Beal also told Wade that he is his basketball idol.
Speaking to reporters on Saturday about the special moment, Dwayne Wade said it was great to hear that from Beal.

“It was so cool, man,” Wade said, via Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald. “Obviously, when he told me in that moment, I was appreciative. Then, later on, you get time to think about the impact that you’re able to make on the game of basketball and younger players — and younger players that have turned into young stars in our league.
“I love his game. I love the way he plays the game. I think last night, for me, was cool that he took that opportunity, that moment, to tell me how much of a fan he was of my game and how much he idolized the way I played. It’s just cool to hear that from a guy who I respect his game. That was one of the coolest moments I’ve had so far this season.”
This is an awesome moment for both Dwyane Wade and Bradley Beal. A lot of the younger players in the league right now looked up to Wade, and it's wonderful Wade is able to receive the love which he deserves after having a legendary playing career.
