When Dwyane Wade played his one season with the Chicago Bulls, he faced off against the Miami Heat three times. During those three games, Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra threatened to fine players if they fell for his patented pump fake.
Dwyane Wade has made a living of pump faking defenders and drawing fouls. Everyone knows it's coming, but players just can't help themselves.
“And then to prepare for him, I put a $5,000 fine for anybody that went for a shot fake or fouled him [Dwyane Wade] on any one of his tricks,” Spoelstra said, via Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel. “Guys under 25. They still owe me money.”

The threat didn't work out too well for the Heat during the 2015-16 season. In three games against the Heat that season, Dwyane Wade went 12 for 14 from the free-throw line. It's easier said than done to not bite on a D-Wade pump fake.
Luckily for Erik Spoelstra and the Heat, the future Hall of Famer is back in Miami now. This will be Dwyane Wade's last year in the NBA.
Dwyane Wade, a Chicago native, takes on the Bulls Friday night at the United Center. In 10 games this season, the 12-time All-Star is averaging 13.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists while shooting 43.6 percent from the field, 38.5 percent from beyond the arc and 58.6 percent from the free-throw line.
