The Miami Heat lost in embarrassing fashion in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals. They were defeated 102-82 by the Celtics in Boston. With the win, Boston tied the series at two games apiece. Jimmy Butler and Kyle Lowry explained their mindset and laid out the game plan for Wednesday’s crucial Game 5 in Miami.

“I don’t think we need to worry about individuals,” Butler said. “I think we need to figure out how to win as a team, that’s the most important thing. Figure out how to get stops as a team, how to score as a team, and continue to do everything as a team.”

Jimmy Butler hammered the team narrative for the Heat. Kyle Lowry kept things extremely straightforward in his initial response.

“I think we go get on an airplane and go home and, you know, get recovery. Look at the film the next day and get ready to play.”

Neither appeared to be worried following the Heat loss. Butler and Lowry have plenty of postseason experience. They are confident in their ability to rebound from difficult postseason defeats.

Lowry added that there is concern, but explained what Miami's mindset needs to be moving forward.

“There is always concern,” Lowry said. “There is always concern on how the game went about. But we can't dwell on what happened. We got to figure out how to get better, move on to the next situations… let it hurt, let it sting. Move forward, stay positive, because we still have another game in one day.”

Jimmy Butler and Kyle Lowry will look to lead the Heat to a victory in Game 5.
