The Miami Heat defeated the Boston Celtics in South Beach on Thursday, and the team was on fire from beyond the arc all night long.
Miami made a season-high 18 3-pointers against the Celtics on Thursday and wound up defeating Boston by a final score of 115-99.
The Heat are now 20-20 on the season and 10-12 at home. Boston, meanwhile, dropped to 25-16 overall and 10-11 on the road.

The Heat shot 18-39 from distance, good for 46.2 percent. Eight different players on Miami made a shot from three, led by shooting guard Josh Richardson, who shot 4-of-8 from beyond the arc.

Heat legend Dwyane Wade continues to play at a high level during his final NBA season. The future Hall of Famer scored a team-high 19 points off the bench. Wade played 23 minutes and was efficient from start to finish, shooting 8-of-12 from the floor and 3-of-5 from the 3-point line.
Miami entered Thursday making around 11 3-pointers a game, good for eighth in the NBA. They were 14th in the league in 3-point percentage. They will rise in that category after Thursday's performance.
The Heat are in sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings. Hopefully the team can make the playoffs this year so Dwyane Wade can play in one more postseason.
