It looks like Miami Heat guard Victor Oladipo is laser-focused on making his NBA return this March.
Oladipo has been out for the Heat since 2020-21, undergoing a second quad tendon surgery last May. Fortunately, it has been reported recently that the veteran guard could return as early as the second week of March.
More recently, Jorge Sedano of ESPN noted that Oladipo is looking “fantastic” and “unbelievable” as he works his way back to full health and game shape.
Interestingly, Oladipo himself seems to hint that his return is near and he has his eyes on it, noting on Twitter that he has “tunnel vision”–emphasizing his focus on his immediate goal to return.

Victor Oladipo's potential return is certainly a welcome boost to the Heat, who are aiming to keep a firm hold on the top seed in the East. At 41-21, they have a two-game cushion over the second-seeded Chicago Bulls.
With the way they are playing as well and with the season in its final stage, they are really well positioned to finish the 2021-22 campaign getting homecourt advantage for the playoffs until the conference finale.
Of course Oladipo isn't expected to make an immediate impact, but if he returns soon and gets to play some games before the postseason, he could be a major factor for the team in their championship bid.
