Now fully into retirement and focused on the next part of his life, Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade hopes to use what he’s learned from Los Angeles Lakers icon Kobe Bryant.
Wade says he hit his post retirement life fast and hasn’t looked back. The Heat icon, who is getting his No. 3 jersey retired by Miami on Saturday, says Bryant laid the groundwork on what you can do after your NBA career is over:

Wade worked for TNT this last weekend in Chicago for All-Star weekend. The former Heat superstar is really busy nowadays. He doesn’t even have time to think about the “what if” factor of pulling an MJ and coming out of retirement to play for the Heat, who are one of the best teams in the league this season with All-Stars Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo leading the way.
The Heat’s three-day event for Wade’s jersey retirement is going to be epic. Wade will surely be emotional on Saturday when his No. 3 jersey goes into the rafters in Miami in front of Heat Nation.
