The Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Miami Heat 118-102 earlier today, but All-Star forward Paul George showed nothing but love to future Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade.

George, who had 43 points, seven rebounds, and five assists in the win, exchanged jerseys with Wade postgame, in what has become a tradition in the league this season.

The Thunder star is one of the players who clearly idolized Wade growing up, and to be able to play against him in the NBA is going to be one of PG's proudest achievements. They were once part of the fierce rivalry between the Indiana Pacers and the Miami Heat from 2011-2014.

This has been a great culture in the NBA. Younger generations showing well-deserved respect to the guys who played before them. Wade, who has influenced a lot of today's players has been treated with nothing but love and appreciation while playing out his final season in the league.

Just recently, NBA commissioner Adam Silver gave Wade and Dallas Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki special roster spots in the upcoming All-Star game.

Wade will be known as one of the greatest shooting guards to ever play in the NBA. In his 15-year career, the three-time champion has averaged 22.1 points, 5.5 assists, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.6 steals. During his prime, he's one of the most electrifying players in the league, and he has made thousands of highlights that wowed millions of people all over the world.

Fans will surely see D-Wade's jersey hanging in the rafters of AmericanAirlines Arena one day.

For now, better enjoy the remainder of his farewell tour.
