Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside gave Toronto Raptors rookie Pascal Siakam a rude welcome to the NBA, as he swallowed his shot whole, ensnaring the basketball in mid-air for a huge block.

Surprisingly, this was Whiteside's only block of the game — but if we're judging by quality, this one is a definite 10. The block has everything: timing, extension and emphasis to boot.

We can now see why DeMarcus Cousins had such a tough time with him during practice, when he was a member of the Sacramento Kings.

Hassan Whiteside had a monster night with 21 points, 16 rebounds, three assists, two steals and a huge block on Siakam that will go straight into his highlight reel.
