Milwaukee Bucks talisman Giannis Antetokounmpo was the best clutch performer of the 2017-18 season, as his crisp 75 percent finishing rate proved to be tops in the NBA when leading by one possession.

The Greek Freak was able to keep his team in front and extend leads with as little as a one-point advantage, doing so in nine of his 12 opportunities last season, according to Basketball-Reference (via Casino.ca)

Giannis Antetokounmpo's long-striding game is often a reason of his effectiveness, able to get from the 3-point line to the paint in a mere two steps, thanks to a 6-foot-11 frame and a demonic 7-foot-3 wingspan that has haunted defenses since he came into the league.

The Bucks forward is still a reluctant 3-point shooter, making use of his bread-and-butter and getting into the paint — which only speaks to his high field goal percentage, above others like Kris Dunn and Julius Randle, hovering above 60 percent.

What's more fantastic about it all, is that Antetokounmpo is making plays at both ends of the floor, at times letting his defense fuel his offense, like he did in this play against the Portland Trail Blazers in a come-from-behind win.

As clutch as he's been on offense, the Greek Freak has also contributed to wins on defense, like this block on Jaylen Brown that sealed the win for Milwaukee after the play was reviewed.

With LeBron James out of the East, Giannis Antetokounmpo could be set to dominate this conference for years to come, with a skill set that is still developing and yet to reach its maximum ceiling.
