Giannis Antetokounmpo isn't the most outspoken of characters, especially considering the Most Valuable Player race that now looms closer as the end of the season nears. The Milwaukee Bucks star put it simply — he doesn't like to toot his own horn, instead letting his play do the talking for him:

“I don't like talking about myself, talking about the MVP,” Antetokounmpo said, according to ESPN's Tim Bontemps. “As I have said in the past, if you keep winning, it will take care of itself.”

Antetokounmpo's most recent game spoke loudly of his chances, as he trotted out 45 points, 13 rebounds, six assists and five huge blocks against the Philadelphia 76ers, leading the Bucks to a 128-122 statement win on the road.

The Greek Freak committed no turnovers, something that proved vital after losing starting point guard Eric Bledsoe to an ejection in the opening minutes of the first quarter.

Antetokounmpo was that cool customer, not sweating the pressure and instead showing out the full repertoire, making 13-of-22 from the field, 3-of-7 from deep and a strong 16-of-21 from the foul line, putting the Sixers away and making a strong statement for himself as this season draws to a close.

While James Harden and the Houston Rockets busy themselves campaigning for the reigning MVP, Antetokounmpo knows that actions speak louder than words, and nothing speaks louder than leading his team to the best overall record in the league and a slew of late-game heroics that have made him a two-way superstar.

Antetokounmpo also ranks tops in the league in player efficiency rating with a strong 30.81 mark, which is a testament to his well-balanced and team-oriented game.
