The Boston Celtics thumped the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 1 of their second-round Eastern Conference playoff series on Sunday afternoon, beating them by 22 points and holding Giannis Antetokounmpo to 22 points off 7-of-21 shooting.

So, naturally, you would assume that the Bucks would be making some big adjustments heading into Game 2 to avoid falling into what would be a devastating 2-0 hole.

Not according to Antetokounmpo.

When asked whether or not Milwaukee would need to make any notable changes heading into Tuesday night's contest, he was emphatic in his response:

“Definitely not,” said the MVP candidate, according to Matt Velazquez of The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. “We're just going to keep doing what we've been doing all year. I think there should be no change at all. Why should there be a change after a game that we lost? We should not be the team that makes the adjustment even though we lost the first game. We're just going to come out and play our hardest, see how Game 2 goes. If it doesn't go well for us, then you can think about adjusting. But right now, we're not adjusting nothing. We're just going to be us. We've got to go out there and compete.”

Obviously, we are not sure if Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer feels the same way, but one of the biggest criticisms against Budenholzer during his time with the Atlanta Hawks was his inability to adjust after playoff losses.

If that rings true in this series, Milwaukee may find itself having a much earlier vacation than it originally expected.
