All-Star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo provided a historic performance in a historic night for the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Bucks completed their sweep of the Detroit Pistons with a 127-104 win in Game 4 of their first round playoff series. It's the first postseason series win for Milwaukee in 18 years, having been to the playoffs nine times since 2001.

Antetokounmpo came up big for Milwaukee once again, finishing with 41 points, nine rebounds, three assists, one steal and four blocks. He also outscored the Pistons from the free throw line, making 15 out of his 20 freebies compared to Detroit's 9-of-12.

Overall, the Greek Freak shot 52.2 percent to propel Milwaukee in just roughly 32 minutes of play.

Remarkably, according to NBA Stats, Antetokounmpo's display is the first time in league history that a player has scored more than 40 markers in less than 32 minutes of action in a playoff game.

Giannis Antetokounmpo made only 14 points on 38.5 percent shooting in Game 3, and he obviously came out like a player on a mission right from the opening frame of Game 4.

Throughout their first round series with the Pistons, Antetokounmpo averaged 26.3 points, 12.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists per contest. He is also a model of consistency, with the Game 3 being the only time he shot below 50 percent from the field.

The Bucks will hope that Giannis retains the momentum he gained from their matchup with Detroit. They are up against the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference semifinals next, with the Beantown squad brimming with confidence after also sweeping their first round opponents.
