Giannis Antetokounmpo just can't seem to shake the ankle issue that has plagued him for the last two weeks. With the playoffs fast approaching, don't be surprised if the Milwaukee Bucks take an extra cautious approach to ensuring the health of their franchise player.

According to Matt Velasquez of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Antetokounmp has officially been listed as questionable for his team's game against the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday.

Antetokounmpo sprained his right ankle in the Philadelphia 76ers' thrilling 130-125 victory victory over the Bucks on March 17th. He missed Milwaukee's next two games against the Los Angeles Lakers and Cleveland Cavaliers before returning to the lineup on March 22nd in a win over the Miami Heat.

Antetokounmpo was his typically dominant self in a victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday, posting 34 points, nine rebounds, and five assists on 10-of-18 shooting, but missed the final eight minutes of the game after colliding with Clippers guard Garrett Temple and clutching his fragile right ankle.

“Usually when you sprain your ankle, you tweak your ankle, you stay out for two, three, four games,” he said on Friday, per ESPN's Malika Andrews. “But I don't like missing games, so I have to work through it while playing and try to get my strength with our practices.”

The Bucks, at a league-best 57-19, are four games up on the second-place Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference with just six games left to play. Toronto, like Milwaukee, will prioritize health and rest ahead of playoff seeding, though, likely ensuring that Mike Budenholzer's team will have home-court advantage throughout the playoffs.
