Boston Celtics small forward Jaylen Brown says he has never seen anyone with the tenacity and aggressiveness that Milwaukee Bucks superstar swingman Giannis Antetokounmpo plays with.
Brown, whose Celtics are tied with Giannis and the Bucks at 1-1 in the second round of the playoffs, has a lot of respect for the way Antetokounmpo plays the game.
“He’s up there with the best,” Brown said, via Eric Nehm of The Athletic. “He’s up there with the LeBrons and whoever else you want to name. In terms of his tenacity and aggressiveness, I don’t think I’ve ever seen it.
“Like how he comes and just forces his way to the basket whether you stop him or not. I think he leads the league in charges committed, and he’s happy that he does because that’s just a form of aggression.”
During the regular season, Antetokounmpo attempted 764 shots at the rim. The Bucks star made 584.
Giannis doesn't have a consistent jump shot yet, so he does all of his damage at the basket. Antetokounmpo shot 76.4 percent at the rim this season while averaging 27.7 points per game.
The Greek Freak is dominating the game without a perimeter game, so just imagine how good he's going to be once he does get a jump shot.
