The Milwaukee Bucks currently own the best record in the Eastern Conference with just a few games left to play in the 2018-19 regular season. While just about every basketball fan on the planet knew that the team would be competitive this season, very few outside of Milwaukee could have predicted this much success quickly.

Nonetheless, Bucks superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo — who could very well become the league's MVP this season — has propelled the Eastern Conference franchise to the summit. As a result, Bucks co-owner Marc Lasry believes that Antetokounmpo will remain in Milwaukee as long as the team remains successful.

“Giannis wants to win, we all want to win,” Lasry recently told Frank Isola of The Athletic. “He wants to be able to compete for a championship. As long as we stay competitive, I believe he’ll stay here. In fact, other free agents will want to come to Milwaukee to play with Giannis.”

“All Giannis wants is an opportunity to win. That what we all want.”

As it stands today, Milwaukee is sporting a stellar 58-20 record. Not only do they boast the best record in the Eastern Conference, but the Bucks actually own the best record in the entire NBA as the Golden State Warriors have a 52-24 record.

If the 2018-19 regular season ended today, the Bucks would square off against the eighth seeded Miami Heat in the first round of the postseason.

As long as Giannis Antetokounmpo remains in the lineup, the Bucks have a legitimate shot at reaching the NBA Finals.
