Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo and Houston Rockets guard James Harden are in a close race for the Most Valuable Player award this season. Bucks fans made sure that the world will know who their bet is for the most coveted individual award this year.
Bucks fans showed a lot of love to Antetokounmpo early in the fourth quarter of their match against Harden and the Rockets at the Fiserv Forum. The Bucks crowed gave Antetokounmpo the popular M-V-P chant while the 24-year-old superstar was taking free-throws at the 9:15 mark of the fourth period.

Antetokounmpo is one of the top two MVP candidates this season, as he is having the best year of his NBA career. The Greek superstar is averaging career-highs 27.4 points, 12.6 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game this season. The sixth-year forward is also making an impact on defense, tallying 1.5 blocks and 1.3 steals per game for the Bucks.
Article Continues BelowHarden is also a strong MVP candidate with the way he is scoring for the Rockets this season. The reigning MVP is averaging 36.4 points on 43.9 percent shooting from the field. The 29-year-old guard is also posting 7.5 assists and 6.4 rebounds for Houston this season.
The MVP balloting is expected to be a close one after the regular season. But on Tuesday, Antetokounmpo had the last laugh, as his Bucks ran away with a 108-94 win over Harden and the Rockets. Giannis finished with 19 points and 14 boards on top of four assists in 33 minutes of action.
With the win, the Bucks improved to 56-19, which is currently the best record in the league heading into the final stretch of the regular season. The Bucks are currently four games ahead of the Toronto Raptors, who are holding the second-best record in the league at this point of the season.
