As the Milwaukee Bucks continue to dominate the NBA en route to the league's best record, Giannis Antetokounmpo is making sure that the team avoids any drama as the team prepares to make a push for the NBA Finals.

Speaking to The Athletic’s Fran Isola, Antetokounmpo was asked about the possibility of drama, and simply said that the team has no time for it. “There’s no reason for drama,” Antetokounmpo said. “We’re winning. Everyone is playing well. There’s no time for drama.”

Thankfully for the Bucks players and their fans, the entire team seems to embrace the drama-free mindset despite the fact that much drama could exist. Not only is a majority of the Bucks starters expected to test free agency, but they still have to contend with a suddenly very competitive Eastern Conference. Despite this, it seems as if Giannis is helping steer the ship in the right way, and keeping the teams eyes set on the prize.

Currently, the Bucks sit atop the Eastern Conference with a 58-20 record, and are just a couple of days away from likely clinching the best record in the Eastern Conference and the NBA. They’ll likely have home court advantage throughout the NBA playoffs, and should they make it to the NBA Finals, will also get to start there as well.

On top of that, their 24-year old superstar is playing like an MVP, as Giannis is averaging 27.4 points, 12.5 rebounds, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game. Needless to say, there’s no reason to be dramatic about this season, and for the Bucks, things just seem to be getting started.
