The Los Angeles Clippers entered Wednesday's game against the Phoenix Suns looking to continue their momentum, as they are riding a two-game winning streak coming in. The Clippers are locked into the eighth seed in the western conference. Meanwhile, the Suns already clinched home-court advantage throughout the entire NBA playoffs. So, neither team had much to play for on paper. Don't tell that to the Clippers though.
After a tightly contested first quarter, Los Angeles opened up the second quarter on a 21-0 run. Granted, the Suns did not play Chris Paul, Devin Booker or DeAndre Ayton in this game. Nevertheless, a 21-0 run to begin a quarter in the NBA is still a very rare feat, no matter who is on the court.
It left people on Twitter going berserk.
21-0 run by the Clippers.

Clearly, the reference to “Black Panther” with Killmonger standing over him was posted by a Clippers fan. But not everyone was, some were just astounded at what transpired.
How about them Clippers #ClipperNation going on 21-0 run against your beloved best record Suns. pic.twitter.com/iH5tVdC708

Checked the box score and saw the Clippers outscored the Suns 21-0 at one point in the second quarter. pic.twitter.com/mSd26WZxeX

This basketball fan clearly get it. It doesn't matter who is playing, 21-0 is ridiculous.
I don’t think I ever seen basketball as bad the Suns just played to start the second quarter. 21-0 Clippers

Another Clippers fan got in the action, posting a video of Stephen A. Smith appearing to react to the Clippers run. Of course, it's just another bananas rant from Smith.

Whereas, this fan puts the run into context.
Clippers are on a 21-0 run right now against the Suns at home. This has to be up there for the most points on a run without the other team scoring.

They point out that this must be up there for most points on a run without the other team scoring a point. It's still unknown for certain if this is an NBA record, but no games come to mind that had a quarter start 21-0.
The Clippers are trying to round into shape as they prepare for the postseason. They will host either the New Orleans Pelicans or San Antonio Spurs in the play-in tournament.
