Since entering the NBA in 2008, Derrick Rose has had the pleasure of playing with some great teammates.

The Chicago Bulls drafted Rose with the first overall pick in 2008. Since then, the explosive guard has played for the New York Knicks, Cleveland Cavaliers, Minnesota Timberwolves and Detroit Pistons.

Now, we'll be taking a look at the best teammates Derrick Rose has had so far in his career.

Jimmy Butler

Butler and Rose were teammates on the Bulls for five years. They also played together in Minnesota for a little bit.

The 2014-15 season was the best year Rose and Butler had together. Derrick averaged 17.7 points and 4.9 assists, while Jimmy put up 20.0 points, made his first All-Star team and won the Most Improved Player of the Year Award.

It's too bad Rose didn't have Butler as his teammate during his MVP season. The 2010-11 Bulls would have been unstoppable with MVP Rose and All-Star Jimmy Butler leading the charge.

Joakim Noah

Derrick and Jo grew very close in Chicago, so much so that Joakim Noah signed with the Knicks in the summer of 2016 after New York acquired Derrick Rose from the Bulls.

Joakim averaged 9.7 points and 10.0 boards while Rose was his teammate on the Bulls. The former Florida Gator also won the 2013-14 Defensive Player of the Year Award.

Rose, meanwhile, finished his Chicago career with averages of 19.7 points.

Carmelo Anthony

During his one season with the Knicks, Rose averaged 18.0 points and 4.3 assists. Anthony led that New York team in scoring, putting up 22.4 points per game.

Despite having Anthony and Rose on offense though, the 2016-17 Knicks won just 31 games. Rose left the team in free agency for the Cavs, while the Knicks wound up trading Anthony to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

LeBron James

Rose's half-season with LeBron James and the Cavs in 2017-18 was a disaster. The three-time All-Star appeared in just 16 games with Cleveland, averaging 9.8 points and 1.6 assists in 12.4 minutes per game before the Cavs traded him to the Utah Jazz.

The injury Rose suffered in the second game of the season against the Milwaukee Bucks forced him to leave the Cavs for a little bit to assess his NBA future. LeBron put up 27.5 points, 8.6 rebounds and 9.1 assists during the 2017-18 season.

It's only fair to wonder how deadly Rose and James would have been if Greg Monroe didn't take Derrick out of the air in the second game of the 2017-18 campaign.

Karl-Anthony Towns

Karl-Anthony Towns developed a nice rapport with Derrick Rose on and off the court despite the latter only being on the Wolves for 60 games.

Derrick finished his Timberwolves tenure with averages of 16.2 points. He scored a career-high 50 points on Halloween during the 2018-19 season against the Jazz, the team that waived him in the previous season.

Towns, meanwhile, put up 24.4 points and 12.4 boards per game in his first full season being teammates with Rose.
