When the full list of participants was released for the NBA draft there was one popular name that was noticeably missing, LiAngelo Ball.
The younger brother of Los Angeles Lakers guard Lonzo Ball, not many were expecting him to get the invite, but he is still in this years NFL draft.
According to Lonzo Wire's Josh Martin, Lonzo will still hold workouts for the individual teams. He is also scheduled to participate at the Pro Basketball Combine at IMG Academy on May 22-23.
For LiAngelo his college career was short-lived at UCLA. He was suspended for the year following a shoplifting incident while the team was in China. Instead of serving the suspension he decided to leave UCLA and go play with his brother LaMelo in Lithuania.
He played 15 games there starting seven of them. He averaged 22 minutes a game putting up 12.8 points while shooting over 40 percent from deep.

Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN tweeted in December that he had no chance of being drafted. According to one GM that Wojnarowski talked LiAngelo wasn't even on any scouting lists.
Ex-UCLA freshman LiAngelo Ball has no chance that he'll be drafted in June — and that was true before his shoplifting incident in China. "He's not on any of our scouting lists — even the extended lists," one GM told ESPN.
