The NBA has announced a new partnership with sports book operators William Hill. Under this arrangement, the company will serve as a Proud Partner and an Authorized Sports Betting Operator of the NBA in the United States, according to the league's official report.

According to the NBA's press release, William Hill will have the right to use official NBA betting data and league marks across its mobile platforms and in its sports books throughout the United States. The company will also see its name promoted on several of the league's platforms, including its website, app and social media sites.

Scott Kaufman-Ross, who serves as Senior Vice President and Head of Fantasy & Gaming for the NBA, provided a statement with regards to this new partnership:

“William Hill is a globally respected brand that has set an early standard for sports betting in the U.S. market,” Kaufman-Ross told NBA.com. “We are delighted to partner with William Hill as they grow their business throughout the U.S. and are excited to work together to provide a world-class experience to our fans.”

Betting has always been a hot topic in the NBA, and now that it's legal, more and more fans are participating. The league's trust in William Hill didn't just come on a whim, though. The popular sports book company has 85 years of history in this field and operates in 10 different states.
