Top NBA prospect Zion Williamson had another impressive outing on Saturday, as he helped the Duke Blue Devils defeat the fourth-seeded Virginia Cavaliers, 72-70.

Following the tightly-contested victory, Williamson shut down rumors that he was going to sit out the remainder of the NCAA season in preparation for June's NBA Draft.

“I can’t just stop playing,” Zion Williamson said, per Pat Forde of Yahoo! Sports. “I’d be letting my teammates down. I’d be letting Coach K down. I’d be letting a lot of people down.

“If I was going to sit out, I wouldn’t have gone to college. I’m thankful that Coach K gave me the opportunity.”

There have been some whispers about Zion Williamson deciding to shut it down early as he tries to avoid any unwanted injuries that might jeopardize his future in the NBA. However, the 18-year-old is having none of it, and has reiterated his commitment to his school and to his coach.

Williamson dropped 27 big points against Virginia on Saturday on 10-of-16 shooting. He also added nine rebounds, an assist, two steals, a block, and three turnovers in 38 minutes of action. However, he was not feeling it from the charity stripe this evening, as he only went 7-of-14 from the line.

Zion Williamson remains to be the consensus first overall pick coming into this summer's Draft, with a number of NBA teams already planning their future around the very promising mammoth of a man.
