Former Duke Blue Devils big man Zion Williamson has now officially declared for the 2019 NBA Draft and is obviously slated to become the No. 1 overall pick. While Williamson realistically has a shot at landing only in about four different cities, the entire league will surely be talking about the up-and-comer as the annual event draws nearer and nearer.
However, with all of the praise Williamson is bound to receive, there will also be the critics — one of which apparently resides in the Eastern Conference. According to a recent article from HoopsHype, one anonymous Eastern Conference All-Star had some interesting things to say about the soon-to-be NBA rookie.

“I haven’t watched too much of him,” reads the HoopsHype article. “His athletic ability is obviously crazy and he has so much potential, but it all depends how he’s going to develop his skills. He won’t be able to just rely on his athleticism in the NBA. His shot will need to improve. But he seems to know how to play the game and he competes.”
Of course, Williamson is widely regarded for the continuous show that he put on as a freshman. Although Duke was unable to secure a national title or even a trip to the Final Four in what became Williamson's lone go-round at the heralded ACC program, it was hardly his fault in the end. As a result, his draft stock won't take even the slightest dip as the New York Knicks, Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls, and Phoenix Suns will all be eyeing Williamson come summertime.
