Bronny James didn't have a big season during his freshman campaign with the USC basketball team, but as time passes, it's looking more and more likely that he will stay in the NBA Draft. When the season concluded, James decided to declare for the NBA Draft while maintaining his college eligibility, and he also entered his name into the transfer portal. James will either be playing in the NBA next season, or he will be with a different school.

This past season was a roller coaster for Bronny James as he missed out on a good chunk of his offseason because of a scary cardiac arrest incident. There was a lot up in the air in regards to James after that happened, and it's been great to see him back out on the court competing. He is feeling grateful that he has this opportunity.

“It's just a great thing to happen to me in terms of being grateful for everything and stuff like that,” James said, according to a tweet from Andy Katz. “I put in the work and stuff like that to get back so I feel like I've earned the opportunity. I'm extremely grateful for everything that's been given to me and stuff like that and yeah I'm just excited for my future.”

James was also asked what has been different about this recent NBA Draft/combine experience compared to his play at USC. Flexibility has been big for him.

“You know, just flexibility, given a chance, you know, just everyone believing in me and stuff like that, not that everyone at USC didn't, but yeah just an open opportunity,” James continued.

Now, Bronny James has a decision to make in regards to his future. He can remain in the NBA Draft and hope to hear his name called, or he can decide to go back to college. James plans on spending a lot of time alone thinking about what's best for him.
