Close friends of former NBA guard Delonte West are very worried about his well-being.

A trip for him to seek help is scheduled and booked, West agrees upon it, and then he cancels. “He has to want to be helped,” said one person directly involved in setting him up with assistance. One of his former teams, according to a person, tried “too many times to count.”

“This has the potential to end very badly,” his close confidant said, “and we have to help.”
West played 432 games in the NBA with the Boston Celtics, Seattle SuperSonics, Cleveland Cavaliers and Dallas Mavericks. He last played in the NBA during the 2011-12 season.
Hopefully, NBA players will help Delonte West get his life back in order after this latest video went viral.
