Former NBA player Glen “Big Baby” Davis was named a person of interest in a parking lot beatdown that left a man hospitalized, according to TMZ Sports.
Local police said witnesses told investigators Davis was driving aimlessly in a parking lot on Sunday evening near Factory nightclub in West Hollywood and after nearly hitting the victim with his vehicle, witnesses say the man tried to confront Davis, who got out of his car and engaged in a physical confrontation.
Per TMZ, witnesses near the scene said Davis threw the man to the ground, eventually leaving the parking lot.
Article Continues BelowOnce emergency responders were called to the scene, the victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was treated for fractures in his face and ribs, as well as a broken tooth, per TMZ Sports.
Davis has not been arrested or formally charged with a crime, solely remaining a person of interest for the investigation.
The former L.A. Clipper recently was arrested in a Maryland hotel back in February on drug possession and distribution charges. Maryland police had found 126 grams of marijuana and a briefcase containing $92,000 in cash inside Davis’ hotel room
