One of, if not the most controversial moment from Game 1 between the Golden State Warriors and the Memphis Grizzlies from Sunday night was Draymond Green getting himself ejected in the second quarter of the contest. The former Defensive Player of the Year was assessed for a Flagrant-2 foul on Brandon Clarke which resulted in Green heading to the locker room early in the game.

Warriors superstar Stephen Curry has now spoken out about the incident. According to the former back-to-back MVP, he believes that Green's reputation played a major role in his ejection (h/t Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle):

Curry was quite cryptic in his response and he wasn't very direct with his message. However, it is clear that the Warriors guard believes that there might have been some bias on the referees when they decided to throw Green out of the ballgame on Sunday.

Draymond Green himself has shared his thoughts on the incident. As expected, the Warriors talisman made it abundantly clear that he holds no regret about his foul and that he has no intention of changing his style of play:

“If I take the bite out of the way I play, we go home early and the points don’t matter anyway,” Green said.
