In their win over the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday, RJ Barrett and Mitchell Robinson of the New York Knicks dropped 27 and 22 points respectively, making them the youngest duo in franchise history to score at least 20 points each in a game.
In addition to the snagging the franchise record, Barrett and Mitchell logged in their personal career-highs in points.

Their performance helped the Knicks with the 143-120 win over the Hawks. This marks their third win in the four games which has now caught the attention of several analysts.
Article Continues BelowAfter all, no one doubted the team's talent at the beginning of the season — even at face value. Barrett, the the third overall pick of the 2019 NBA Draft, is generally expected to become a rising star soon.
The likes of Kevin Knox, Frank Ntilikina, Mitchell, and Dennis Smith Jr., too, are expected to have a breakout season sooner or later while donning the Knicks jersey. Veteran forwards Marcus Morris, Julius Randle, and Taj Gibson were added to the line up to serve as guide posts for Knicks' young players, sharing valuable lessons that they'll carry with them forever.
While it's too early to celebrate as there's a ton of games left to play, their string of victories is a good sign of things to come. This Knicks squad wants to win, contrary to other reports which lambasted the team's lack of a competitive spirit.
