Russell Westbrook recently got enshrined to Oklahoma City's Hall of Fame and received a lot of high praises including from the widely considered greatest basketball player of all time, Michael Jordan.
The 53-year-old Charlotte Hornets‘ team owner said he sees a lot of himself in Westbrook especially with the passion for the game that he has. Jordan also surprised many when he vaguely referenced the Oklahoma City Thunder point guard's former teammate when he thanked him for staying loyal to the city.
Michael Jordan says Oklahomans should be proud of Westbrook's loyalty. "I'm not here to bash anyone that's not here. Everyone has a choice."

His Airness may not have dropped a name but many believe it was a shot at Kevin Durant who decided to leave the Thunder last summer to bring his talents to Oakland and join the Golden State Warriors.
The former dynamic duo in OKC have gone separate paths over the past few months with Westbrook opting to stay with the team and signing a huge contract extension. He has drawn a lot of respect especially from Oklahomans for not leaving the Thunder and leading them this season despite a weaker roster on paper.
It will be very interesting to hear what Durant will say about Jordan's comments if ever he decides to give a reaction to it and will be something definitely worth monitoring in the next couple of days.
