The Oklahoma City Thunder faced yet another painful loss at the hands of the Golden State Warriors, dropping down another spot in the fierce Western Conference and now mired in sixth place.

As a unit, the Thunder shot a woeful 37.6 percent from the field, despite Russell Westbrook's brilliant 44-point, 16-rebound effort. It was his co-stars that missed the mark, as Paul George and Carmelo Anthony combined to shoot 9-of-35 from the floor, including a hideous 3-of-18 mark from deep.

Westbrook has been aware of the Thunder's struggles as of late but brushed them all away, not giving in to any potential rift between the Big Three after several poor shooting performances.

“As long as we're good in this locker room — regardless of what anybody says outside of this locker room — it really don’t matter,” said Westbrook, according to Fred Katz of The Norman Transcript. “As long as we're good as a team, as a unit, as brothers, we have a great relationship on and off the floor.”

The Thunder have now lost five of its last seven games, which has made it increasingly difficult to stay atop the playoff board — and it won't get any easier facing the Houston Rockets and the Miami Heat on the road next, before finishing off the season at home against the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Thunder have turned back into the Westbrook show lately due to George and Anthony's poor performances — and losing hasn't made it any easier to keep a tight bond.
