George has said multiple times the main reason he re-signed with the Thunder last summer is because of his close relationship with Westbrook. When Durant left OKC for Golden State, many believed KD was sick of playing with Westbrook, although the two-time Finals MVP denied that during Saturday's All-Star media session.
In his second season with the Thunder, George is averaging a career-high 28.7 points per game while shooting 45.3 percent from the floor and 40.6 percent from beyond the arc. He was named to his sixth All-Star team.
Westbrook, meanwhile, just continues to make history. The former MVP finished the first half of the season by recording a triple-double in 11 straight games. The now eight-time All-Star is averaging 21.7 points, 11.2 rebounds and 11.2 assists on the season.
