The Oklahoma City Thunder and center Steven Adams are making significant progress toward a possible four-year, $100 million extension, according to a report by Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.
The Thunder had also been in talks of a possible four-year, $80 million deal with shooting guard Victor Oladipo, as Wojnarowski reported Sunday — though there's been no update as far as his situation.
OKC will attempt to beat the Oct. 31 deadline for the extension of rookie-scale contracts of fourth-year players, which expires at midnight. After that, the players will be locked into restricted free agency by season's end.
