Wednesday night's game between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Miami Heat was definitely an exciting affair. After leading the game by as many as 26 points, the Sixers mounted a ferocious comeback to win the game 104-102. In the closing seconds, JJ Redick nailed a tough jumper to seal the game for the Sixers. All night long, it seemed sure that the Heat would escape the game with a victory. They came in the game firing on all cylinders and were led by Goran Dragic, who scored 18 points.
Of course, losing in this fashion is embarrassing for any team, especially for the Heat since they have plans on making the postseason this year. Nonetheless, the Sixers took advantage of the moment to make fun of the Heat on Twitter with a little Valentine's Day inspired jab.

Wednesday just so happens to be Valentine's Day, but the NBA action is still going on. Apparently, the Sixers are grateful for the Heat's embarrassing loss and wanted to thank them with a savage response on Twitter. Interestingly, Joel Embiid did not play in Wednesday night's game. Could he have been the one that made this tweet? It seems likely. Embiid is one of the savviest social media users in the NBA and he has mastered the art of trash talking.
In any case, both teams are trying to make the postseason, so this game was important in the Eastern Conference standings. No one knows for certain how the playoffs will shape up in the Eastern Conference, but hopefully both of these teams make the cut. It would truly be a waste in excitement otherwise.
