The Phoenix Suns are getting ready to potentially close out the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals on Monday night. Suns star Deandre Ayton is surprisingly calm during pregame and sunk a half-court, granny shot, channeling Rick Barry in epic fashion.

Ayton has been on fire this whole playoff run and now the Suns can book a trip to the NBA Finals with a victory on Monday night. Even with Chris Paul missing time, Devin Booker and Ayton have done their part and have helped the Suns in a stellar postseason run that isn't going to end anytime soon.
Article Continues BelowIn Game 4, Ayton dropped 19 points on 8-14 from the field with 22 rebounds in a four-point victory for the Suns. Without Kawhi Leonard and Ivica Zubac in Game 5, the Clippers' chances are slim to none, and the Suns can taste that NBA Finals trip.
If Ayton is casually draining half-court granny shots before Game 5, it might not bode well for the Clippers as they hold out hope of coming back from a 3-1 deficit after blowing a 3-1 deficit last playoffs.
Ayton also scored the game-winner earlier in the series and has been a catalyst all season for Phoenix, so look for him to play a key role for the remainder of the playoffsâ and perhaps more granny shots.
