Portland Trail Blazers shooting guard CJ McCollum was still able to air a new episode of his highly-popular podcast, albeit from the comfort of his own home. The current coronavirus may have caused a complete shutdown of the league, but thankfully, platforms such as McCollum's podcast are still able to go on air.

One of the subjects McCollum discussed in the podcast was Tom Brady's recent decision to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. According to the Blazers guard, he understands and respects Brady's decision here, and even said that he was going to buy Brady's new Bucs jersey.

“I am a huge Browns fan, but I’m not going to lie to you, I will be getting a Tom Brady Tampa Bay Buccaneers jersey,” McCollum admitted on the latest episode of his Pull Up Podcast, via . “It’s only right that I do just that. It doesn’t change my fandom or my love for the Browns. It’s just a nod and understanding that this is a great player that’s taken his talents to a different market and I respect it.”

McCollum added some more food for thought for NFL fans, saying that he personally believes that Brady has placed himself in a great position to succeed with his new team.

“I don’t think Tom has had these type of weapons around him ever– maybe the Randy Moss era years,” he claimed.

McCollum does have an excellent point here, and we all just can't wait for the new NFL season to start. Unfortunately, though, much like the NBA, the football season won't be able to kick off until we see an end to this current global health threat we're all dealing with.
